In a bizarre collaboration that breaks usual predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden group.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Changes
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
